Nanjing is an ancient capital city, as its name means “Southern Capital”. In the early 20th century, the founder of Republic China, Dr. Sun Yet-sen also settled the capital in Nanjing. Nowadays, in order to commemorate this great revolutionary pioneer, people built Dr. Sun Yet-sen’s Mausoleum and museum in Nanjing. Now it has become a popular sightseeing site, for its beautiful scenery in different seasons.
In the afternoon, we will visit Nanjing Massacre Memorial and Mueum. People from all over the world who love world peace will not forget this history. Remember the history is for the future. The memorial exhibits historical records and objects, and uses architecture, sculptures and video to illustrate what happened during the Nanjing Massacre.
Before ending the tour, we will visit the Confucius Temple Bazaar. Here you will find everything you need for souvenir.
