As the biggest and the most developed city in China, Shanghai is proud of its modern city infrastructure such as the network of subway, the viaduct all around the city, the tunnels goes through under the Huangpu River, and also the first magnetic train in China. So today, our tour will start from the magnetic train trip. The railway of magnetic train is 30km long from Long Yang Station to Pudong International Airport. The whole trip takes you only 8 minutes to cover the whole distance. You will feel yourself flying if you look outside the window.
Getting off the magnetic train, we will visit Oriental Shanghai Geological Museum which lies 2km to the north of Pudong International Airport, and covers an area of more than 10000 ㎡, in which the Exhibition Area is more than 4000 ㎡. The Museum has, Mineral & Rock Hall, Tectonic Movement Hall, Ancient Creatures Hall, Topography Hall, and National Land Resources Hall etc.
On the way back to the city center, we can visit Metersbonwe Costume Museum which is named after a very well-known Chinese costume brand “Meters Bonwe”. Here we can see both the ancient costume and modern stylish fashion show.
