Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning. This one-day sightseeing tour will cover almost all the important tourist sightseeings in Shanghai including Jade Buddha Temple, People Square, Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Nanjing Road, and the Bund.
- Jade Buddha Temple: It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea. The temple now is so called by containing a much larger Jade Buddha, donated from Singapore
- People Square: People's Square is the site of Shanghai's municipal government building, and is used as the standard reference point for measurement of distance in the Shanghai municipality.
- Shanghai Museum: being one of the biggest museums in China, Shanghai Museum has a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural heritages. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.
- Yu Garden: a garden of traditional style architecture, decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rockeries. Yu Garden is not only a famous classical garden in South China, but also a major historic and cultural site under state protection.
- Nanjing Road: Shanghai's main pedestrian shopping street, enjoying the fame as "the No.1 commercial street of China", also it is one of the most prosperous streets in Asia.
- The Bund: the Bund the waterfront of the Huangpu River, and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years, winding a 1500 meters (less than one mile) length. Walking along the Bund, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be seen on the opposite side and also the Jin Mao Tower. And on this side you can see all different style of architectures which is built around 1920s. tourist always believe it an interesting contrast.
